Anniversary Cake

In my last post, I shared Great Grandma Mary Etta’s diary entries from her wedding anniversary dates of August 10, 1934 & 1936. Celebrations Past and Present

Nine years ago today, March 11, 2007, I became Mrs. van Klaveren. I went from having a maiden name with only 4 letters (Falk), to having a new surname with 11 letters. At least the spelling is such that it is in 2 parts and my hand gets a momentary break when writing it! Growing up as a Falk, I always felt proud of my family name.
