In my last post, I said I would make a mince pie recipe from great grandma Mary Etta’s cookbook. Well, I searched and searched, but to no avail! There simply is no mince pie recipe in her cookbook. I did find in her journal – an entry from June 26, 1935 – where she mentions having mince pie, but whether she made it, or bought it, I don’t know.
